Description
Set of two original vintage pressed botanical specimens dated 1958 and 1959. Each retains handwritten botanical identification and collection notations, including the original Compositae family classification. The specimens remain mounted to their original aged paper with visible period mounting tape and are presented in antique deep warm-brown wood frames with subtle gilt detailing. Professionally framed with anti-glare UV museum glass to help protect the original specimens and paper. Age-appropriate toning, mounting marks, and natural changes to the pressed plant material throughout.
