Antique primitive solid wood riser with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, including exposed tenons securing the legs and stretchers. Thick solid wood top with extensive age-related wear, old surface marks and remnants of green paint. Rich, naturally aged patina throughout. Fantastic oxidation and patina.
Acquired from the collection of an avid Charlotte antique collector who formerly managed the antique collections at the Mint Museum.
